FareShare
Essentially, the FareShare charity puts to good use - or prevents going to waste - food that would, ordinarily, be ‘chucked away’. Genius!
FareShare also provides London-based ‘Eat Well’ road-shows to train people catering for groups with particular dietary requirements and balanced nutrition. They conduct similar family-cooking classes for parents in their local community of Southwark.
They also support an employability programme working with their London food delivery service, as well as providing opportunities for volunteers and clients to gain food industry and warehousing skills and qualifications.
