Other SupportIn addition to awards, the Company provides financial support to catering-related projects including competitions such as the Culinary Classic, the Culinary Olympics, and Springboard, an organisation which promotes careers within the sector. Lakefield Training Centre Since 2003, the Company has agreed to support two students at Lakefield Training Centre in a two year programme to City and Guild NVQ level. Trainees often come from a disadvantaged background. At the end of the two year course the trainees can apply to stay at Lakefield for the level 3 NVQ in Hospitality Supervisory Management and/or Patisserie.
